Munde not serious about alliance with MNS: Uddhav

Osmanabad (Maha), Feb 7 (PTI) Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde''s suggestion about a tripartite alliance of Shiv Sena, BJP and MNS to pull down the ruling Congress-NCP combine should not be taken seriously as it was made in a lighter vein, Shiv Sena executive chief Uddhav Thackeray said today.

Munde didn''t talk seriously and hence the statement is not important. I would speak on it later, Uddhav said on the sidelines of a function here.

When asked to comment on Uddhav''s statement, Munde however reiterated his suggestion.

"To finish the Congress-NCP rule in the state, it is necessary that MNS be taken along. If this happens, our political power would definitely increase," he told PTI.

"From the past 20 years we are in alliance with Shiv Sena and it would go on further. I never intended to mount any pressure on the Shiv Sena," he said.
