HDFC Mutual Fund has announced dividend under the dividend option of HDFC Growth Fund, which is an open-ended growth fund. The record date for dividend is February 26, 2009. The amount of dividend is 22.50% i.e. Rs. 2.25 per unit on the face value of Rs. 10.
The NAV of the Fund as on February 19, 2009 was recorded at Rs 18.411 per unit. The scheme seeks to generate long term capital appreciation from a portfolio that is invested predominantly in equity and equity related instruments. source: livemint.com
