Franklin Templeton MF plans to launch a close ended income fund - Franklin Templeton Fixed Tenure Fund-Series XIII and for this, it has filed offer document with Sebi to launch Franklin Templeton Fixed Tenure Fund-Series XIII (FTFTF-XIII). The face value of the new issue will be Rs 10 per unit.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate returns as well as reduce the interest rate volatility, through a portfolio of fixed income securities that are maturing on or before the maturity of the scheme along with capital appreciation through equity exposure.
The scheme offers two plans - Plan A (3 years from the date of allotment) and Plan B (5 years from the date of allotment). Moreover, each plan will offer growth and dividend (payout) option. The minimum investment amount will be Rs 10000 and in multiples of Rs 10 thereafter.
