LONDON: Music legend John Lennon's 1965 Ferrari is all set to go under the hammer for more than USD 150,000 at an upcoming auction.
The tragic Beatles star reportedly bought the sports car shortly after passing his driving test in 1965. It is expected to fetch between USD 155,000 and USD 220,000 when it's sold via British auction firm Bonhams in Paris on February 5, reported Contactmusic.
Lennon only owned the Coupe for a few months before trading it in for a Rolls-Royce, but the sporty Ferrari made its mark in pop culture history, as the singer's first motor.
